It is the second time that Eczema is flaring all over. The first time was last year, it was pretty bad. This time round , it goes all over, my face is not exempted.
I didnt have the issue of Ezcema prior that that, hence, while others mentioning abt Eczema, I had no feel about it till now that I have the first hand experience.
It causes not only physical uncomfort, but also hurts a lot mentally (irritation, frustration etc). Sadly, there is no cure to it. But fortunately it is known that most of the time , Eczema is stress induced. It is weird to people around me, hearing that I am stressed ? What stress I should be having, things are very well and good isnt it?
Well, stress is purely a term used when our mind is not at ease or rather it goes haywired. As the saying goes, mind over body. Our body demonstrates the unbalanced state of our mind through many ways, eczema is one of them.
Since the source of eczema is our mind, we can do something about it.
To tame our mind through mindfulness and yoga. Mindfulness practice has then become the main part of the medicine for my eczema.
The flaring out of eczema is truely a slap to myself that I have lapse in my yoga practice.
Through breath and mindful movement, I will get my mind and body back to where it should be.
There is nothing to be ashame about, it is a learning process & experience for myself.
